Date and Time: Saturday, June 25, 2011 – 6:30 p.m. Fun Run (1 mile) and 7 p.m. 5K Race Location: Fletcher Park, San Marco Overview: Heart & Sole 5K Run is a community-based fundraising event designed to raise awareness and funds for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. In celebration of 11 years of care provided by Community PedsCare, this event will commemorate all of the families who have been in the program. This family-focused event features marvelous food, live entertainment and activities for kids. Beneficiary: Proceeds from Heart & Sole 5K Run benefit Community PedsCare, a pediatric program of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in collaboration with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Nemours Children’s Clinic and University of Florida-Jacksonville.
