The Seventh Annual Halloween Doors & More, a unique event that is best described as a gala of a different sort, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Jacksonville Fairgrounds. This year’s Opening Night Party will be held on Thursday, October 13. For the past five years, participation has been overwhelming, and the event was a sold-out success.   

Sponsors of Halloween Doors & More provide critical support for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. These children and their families are part of Community PedsCare, a pediatric palliative and hospice program of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in collaboration with Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Nemours Children's Hospital and the University of Florida-Jacksonville.

Community PedsCare tends to the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families. Care is provided at no charge to the families and, because the vast majority of care is not reimbursed by insurance, community support is vital in ensuring the availability of these important services.
